It's Europe’s biggest in-water show and takes place every year in Cannes: The 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival 2021 finally kept its promise by opening its doors on September 7th. Hard to imagine it real after such a long run of cancellations due to Covid.
I couldn't believe that after a year so different from every other, we were finally all going to meet again up on the pontoons. But then, stepping into the show, the magic happens: the smile of an old friend from one of the shipyards, and then that of a faithful reader of the magazine. Seeing each other again, talking face to face, having a drink together. What bliss! This year, I can guarantee you that walking on the pink carpet of the multihull area was like walking the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals! We were finally able to experience a boat show again with all the best things in our business: discovering new multihulls, talking with our customers and of course meeting our readers. We also got the chance to celebrate the retirement of our dear Philippe Echelle and welcome his daughter Julie who is now part of our team. I’m already looking forward to the end of summer 2022 and getting back to Cannes!
