Looking back on 2024, the main thing that comes to mind is the new design of our website. The previous site was beginning to show its age, so we’ve had to devote a good part of our year to giving it a facelift.
The project was made possible thanks to the team that supports us in the management of our websites, namely Arnaud, Ksenia and Rémi. We began our reflection with them in mid-2023, with the first mock-ups (prototypes) presented by Gwen, our marketing director. After weeks of exchanging ideas and various proposals, followed by a development phase, the test version of the site finally saw the light of day in April 2024. Then came the time for fine-tuning: was this button necessary, was this font legible enough, did this feature work as expected... In short, we worked page by page to improve your experience of reading and browsing the site. All in all, we'll have spent almost a year thinking about and then actively working on this new design, right up to its launch on June 4, 2024.
Making the site cleaner, more functional and more modern is undoubtedly one of the 2024 projects we're most proud of. Firstly, because it obviously took a lot of time and energy, but above all because our website is at the heart of Multihulls World's activities: you can find all the latest multihull news there, and most of our old news too, not forgetting our stock of over 500 boat tests. Giving a new lease of life to this genuine online newsstand was therefore essential, and we hope you like the result as much as we do!
Thank you for your loyalty to Multihulls World, and happy new year 2025!
