Key Moments 2022

While boat shows are important events in everyone’s nautical calendar, they are even more so for the Multihulls World team, as we all work from home and live in all four corners of France (and even the world!) So these gatherings make the best opportunity for us all to get together to share some good times, which is essential for the cohesion of our little team. What’s more, the family atmosphere of this spring event only heightens our impatience to head back to the South of France, to La Grande Motte, every year. And especially since it allows us to meet up with readers and to chat with them: it’s good motivation when we all head home again!

The show is also a central point in our year because of the Multihull of the Year awards ceremony, co-organized by Multihulls World and the IMS. For the grand return of this ceremony after two years having to announce the results virtually, boating professionals and industry partners all attended the VIP tent at the show, as well as readers during the entire period of voting on our website.
The MOTY election was partly held this year on our social media, notably with the creation of a dedicated Instagram account. The results were announced on Facebook and Instagram during the ceremony at La Grande Motte, helping the main account of the magazine to reach many new subscribers, something that can only delight the digital manager that I am!

Even as 2022 is drawing to a close, we're preparing a new edition of the MOTY and are looking forward to seeing you on the pontoons or at our booth at the 2023 International Multihull Show!
