The first powercat from the American brand (see our test) has so far seen great commercial success, and was voted Multihull of the Year 2023 in the Multipower category.
This should encourage the manufacturer to design a second 40-foot powercat to fill the gap left by the Prestige M48 – the two brands belong to the same group. In the meantime, the TH36 will soon be available with foils. This announcement was made at the Bénéteau press conference at boot Düsseldorf. The two appendages on display form flared U-shaped sections that link the two hulls. The central foil is reinforced by a vertical support beneath the nacelle. This option offers a significant reduction in fuel consumption and a smoother ride in rough seas. The foiling configuration has already been successfully offered on models of the same size, such as the Aquila 36.
