Election for Multihull of the Year 2019, the results!

Following the first edition in 2018, Multihulls World magazine, Multicoques Mag and the International Multihull Show organized the election for the 2019 Multihull of the Year. The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 25 April at La Grande Motte in the South of France.

An unmissable event, since it was YOU, readers, sailors, racers, and above all users of the nominated boats, who chose the winners....

At the beginning of December, we made public the list of nominees in each category and voting was able to begin on the dedicated website (www.MultihullOfTheYear.com).

And of course, during the Multihull Show, the results were announced.

More than 11,000 votes were cast, and here are the final results by category:

Nominees for the 2020 election

The list of nominees for the 2020 multihull election will be announced on the opening day of the United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis, on October 10, 2019.

To be eligible for nomination for this election, only one requirement: new multihulls have to have been launched between the 2019 and 2020 Multihull Show (between mid-April 2019 and mid-April 2020). Some ideas for reflection: new categories - sports multihull, multiyachts and preliminary projects. We'll be talking about it very soon!
