Australian shipyard Echo Yachts, which specializes in the construction and refit of superyachts, is presenting a project named Echo “HSV”. This is a humanitarian support vessel based on the previous Echo “ASY” (Adventure Support Yacht) design.
The specifications required stability, large range (more than 4,000 miles), performance, high load capacity and elegance... So many criteria that once again required a catamaran platform. Designers Bannenberg & Rowell selected architects Incat Crowther hulls, which have proven their worth in difficult ocean conditions. The builder can configure this multiyacht according to the wishes of the customer. While the basic use of this vessel is to support humanitarian missions in difficult to access, remote and shallow areas, the Echo “HSV” is equally suitable for exploration, scientific or medical missions and of course long-distance cruising. With 40 tons of payload, a helipad and a 12-ton crane, the Echo “HSV” is both immediately operational and autonomous.
