In 2023, Capt’n Boat enriched its ecosystem of partners, notably with charter companies and boatyards. The past year also saw the launch of a mobile app and a record of sea time logged. From the customer perspective, Capt’n Boat introduced payment in 2 instalments, free of charge, a monthly fee for long-term assignments, and a “favorites” status. The latter enables users to indicate the sailors they are used to working with, so as to find them easily and rehire them next time they make a request. Capt’n Boat has also extended its services to inland waterways to meet the demand for sailors in that particular sector.
