With a fleet of over 50,000 boats in 76 countries, SamBoat now enables over a million people to take to the water every year.
In just 10 years, this visionary Bordeaux-based start-up has been setting the standards in the e-boating sector. Despite being aimed solely at private individuals back in 2014, the platform quickly opened up to professionals. Acquired by the Dream Yacht Worldwide group in 2018, SamBoat has continued its development to become a major international player in the boating industry. By 2023, SamBoat had integrated five strategic partners - Vents de Mer in France, LateSail in the UK, Argos Yacht Charter in Germany and Croatia Yacht Club in Sweden. SamBoat has also acquired fleet management software such as Digital Nautic and Nautic Manager to support the digitalization of the sector. To consolidate its position and the product it offers, SamBoat’s management has recently set up an operational marketing team at its new Barcelona premises. The company plans to intensify its international expansion, focusing on the boating markets in Europe and North America. Thanks to the support of its powerful European shareholders - Groupe Bénéteau and the international investment company PPF), SamBoat is in a position to capitalize on its continuing success story!
