The Bali range has profoundly changed the selection of cruising catamarans on offer by prioritizing comfort and the enjoyment of life on board. The Bali 4.5 was the first model, launched in 2014, though this has since been replaced by two models, the 4.6 and the 4.4. The same has happened with the smaller Bali 4.0, now the 4.1, which has been replaced by the Bali 4.2 and the Catspace.
Until now, it was the expansion of the range that partly justified the renewal of only two models. A level of maturity seems to have been reached with the forthcoming Bali 5.2, which should soon eclipse the former flagship catamaran, the Bali 5.4 - voted MOTY in its category in 2019.
The new 5.2, the 15th model to bear the Bali name, is scheduled to appear at the next Cannes Yachting Festival. It features all the characteristics of the 5.8 - tilting aft door, forward door, rigid foredeck and huge flybridge. Available in 3, 4, 5 and 6-cabin versions and with numerous customization possibilities, this catamaran will be suitable for a variety of programs. The shipyard has announced an upgraded interior finish: particular attention will be paid to the quality of the materials and the assembly, the rounded furniture corners and the colors. They’ve also retained a “traditional”, forward-facing chart table - except that this location is now becoming becomes a genuine 100% connected control station.
