Aventura Yachts has never been much for bling-bling. In fact, the yard’s early catamarans could be described as somewhat rustic. But the production of a 50-foot powercat has led the company to familiarize itself with the world of luxury and high-end.
With this in mind, the Aventura 38 SC is about to be launched. This powercat is elegant and modular, with a cockpit featuring a large aft platform and adjustable beach club-style bulwarks. The builder favors meticulous woodwork, a luxurious finish and the use of noble materials such as mirror-polished solid stainless steel and Corian, as well as perfectly crafted joinery. The engines selected range from 2 x 200 to 400 HP in the outboard version and 2 x 195 to 370 HP in the inboard version (Yanmar). A lot of firepower, but energy transition is nonetheless included in the catalog, with a 2 x 100 kW twin electric drivetrain option.
