During our test of the Eos 54 catamaran (see Multihulls World no 153) we were won over by the rigor and intelligence of the concept of a seaworthy boat designed for ocean cruising.
Now Eos is presenting a brand-new 47-foot boat designed by the Marc Lombard architects’ office, which will be built at Herve, in La Rochelle, France. This new Eos retains its predecessor's DNA (build quality, nautical qualities, lightness, speed, handling, liveability, comfort) with the aim of shorthanded long-term cruising.
Eos 47 is offered as a semi-custom boat, with a saloon-cockpit area on the same level, a large lounge, a U-shaped galley and an L-shaped chart table, 2 to 4 double cabins and the possibility of a cabin/heads unit in the forepeak for the skipper or the hostess.
The no 1 in the series should be in the water in the spring of 2019.
