Entirely electric, this new model promises silent, non-polluting cruising and an infinite range.
Sunreef is brilliantly attempting to reconcile yachting and ecology: by exploiting a vast multiyacht platform, the builder has managed to install 200 m² (2,150 sq ft) of light and ultramodern solar panels - producing up to 40 kWp of electricity. The 80 Sunreef Power Eco will also be equipped with a high-tech battery bank: 30% lighter than the batteries used in the yachting industry, with a density of less than 6 kg(13 lb)/kWh for increased efficiency and performance. This fully customizable, luxury catamaran can be equipped with a kite for even more performance and range. Hull number one of the 80 Sunreef Power Eco is currently under construction at the Gdansk shipyard in Poland.
