40th edition of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC)

Discounts for the 2025 Transatlantic rally!

2025 will mark the 40th edition of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, which has crossed the Atlantic from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to the Caribbean every year since 1986. By the time the 2025 rallies end in St. Lucia and Grenada, over 8,000 boats and 40,000 sailors will have crossed the ocean with the ARC, totalling 22 million nautical miles...

The ARC was conceived by Jimmy Cornell as a friendly event for true cruising enthusiasts, organized to increase safety and build confidence among participants. The first rally took place in November 1986, attracting 209 yachts from 24 countries - so the event has always been international. To celebrate this upcoming anniversary, Paul Tetlow, Managing Director of ARC, has decided to grant significant discounts to all competitors (or boats) who took part in the famous inaugural rally back in 1986 and who will be registering for one of the 2025 editions. Similarly, discounts will be granted to crews of boats under 40 feet.
