The International Multihull Show - you’d better believe it!

It’s been almost three years since we last strolled along the pontoons at La Grande-Motte. That’s 36 months without having organized a proper Multihull of The Year awards ceremony - the fifth edition of which is already enjoying spectacular success (have you voted yet?). In our issue #200, just a few hours before going to press, we were forced to remove the event from our front cover (in silver, if you remember!) That was March 2020... then a year later with issue #206: once again, no IMS on the cover: a laconic yellow banner even displayed across our article dedicated to the show, with a terse “LAST MINUTE NEWS: International Multihull Show cancelled”. Well, not this year. We’ve got our fingers crossed! Everyone on the Multihulls World team is looking forward to seeing you at the great multihull gathering - this is the only show in the world reserved just for two or three-hulled boats. It’s very reassuring to note that having two years off has in no way spoiled the event, which has ever more exhibitors and multihulls. Our magazine has obviously been an unwavering partner of the IMS since its very first edition in Lorient, in Brittany, back in 2010... but how about we organize another IMS, in the United States, for starters?
