The MOTY – Multihull of the Year – is an election whose purpose is to determine the best new multihulls launched on the market. Designed and organized by the Multihulls World / Multicoques Mag team, the MOTY is now an annual event.
This rule applies to the four categories for which it is possible to vote on the www.multihulloftheyear.com website (i.e. “Sail Cruising”, “Performance Cruising”, “Multipower” and “Multiyacht”) and therefore exclude the two new categories “IMS Premiere” (which will be the result of voting by the Multihulls World/Multicoques Mag jury), and “Capt’n Boat” (which will be run by Capt’n Boat's professional sailors).
For this 2025 edition, the nominees have been selected by our Jury from the multihulls launched (in the water) between the 2024 and 2025 editions of the Miami International Boat Show. The list of nominees was announced on February 12th 2025, opening day of the Show.
The election results will be determined by the votes of the readers of Multihulls World and Multicoques Mag. Readers can vote through a dedicated website: a vote will be considered valid if it has elected a multihull in each category. Any further vote by the same person will be considered void.
The votes open on February 12, 2025 and closing date for voting is April 20, 2025 – before the International Multihull Show at La Grande Motte.
The winners will be announced during the International Multihull Show, on April 23, 2025.
