The autumn boat shows in Europe and the USA had already begun to set the tempo: there were new models on every dock. For the first time, we, as boating journalists specializing in multihulls, were forced to organize and divide up our reporting work - a bit like tackling one of the major Auto Shows... And this edition of our Sail Buyer’s Guide faithfully reflects the dynamism of the manufacturers. This virtually exhaustive (and unique!) catalog of global production is, of course, the fruit of our presence on every continent. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our main correspondents - Dominic in the USA and Kevin in Australia. Thanks to them, we’re able to share with you the latest products launched on all the world’s seas and oceans. This Buyer’s Guide includes precisely 153 multihulls: from 20 to 70 feet, we’ve done our utmost to include every model available... What can we say about the 2025 vintage? First of all, you’ll find an avalanche of “NEW” over the following pages, with some 31% of the models presented being new! It’s worth pointing out that the market seems to be booming in the 50- to 60-foot sector... Then there are 42 multihulls offering (as standard or optional) a hybrid or electric powertrain, i.e. 27% of the selection. Here, it’s the 45- to 55-foot units that seem to be the furthest ahead. Generally speaking, the larger boatbuilders are making a real effort, offering more advanced multihulls at a lower price than the previous generation. The smaller yards, on the other hand, are focusing their efforts on design, high-tech construction and performance. In short, you’re certain to find the multihull of your dreams in this edition of our Buyer’s Guide...
